No ammo, no travel time — a solid beam that damages everything it touches for as long as you hold it. It also has the steepest heat curve in the game, so it is a burst weapon, not a hold-forever one.

How to use it

Tap it in short bursts. Beam Focus and Beam Sweep upgrades widen the kill zone without raising the heat cost as much.
